Calpol moments

(Goblin is 25 months)
Goblin has not been feeling well. He is running a bit of a fever and had a terrible night, keeping Hublet and me awake for most of it. So we were quite grateful that today he was tired and happy to just sit and watch multiple episodes of 'Mr Tumble' and 'Here comes a fire engine'. But from time to time when the medicine kicked in he would perk up and have a little play. Here are some of the things he did during his Calpol moments.
Building a tower: Goblin is using some Melissa and Doug nesting blocks. He enjoys them but if he doesn't get them in the right order - which he usually doesn't - he gets a bit confused because the blocks disappear under each other. I've ordered some proper Montessori pink tower blocks which are solid, and I'm hoping they'll be easier for him to sequence.
This was, in Goblin' words "going shopping".
He played with his new gnome counting toy I made him.
And he had fun pushing golf tees into some polystyrene that was packaging for one of Hublet's gadgets.
The varying states of dress and undress in these photos related to how high his temperature was. Hopefully a good nights sleep tonight will make for a more lively boy tomorrow.
